2019 Sides Announced

Hello Members, I would just like to say thank you to everyone and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Stay safe and enjoy the time with your family’s.
Please find attached the Premier League and Premier A sides, as well as the Premier 7’s Division 2 and 5 sides for the 2019 summer series.
The Power have are also playing in the Taigum Village Challenge, which is the old Tom’s confectionery. This is a great comp that has a great format and is close to home. Also these games get played of a morning to beat the heat a little.
We have a number of reserves eager to play also, so if anyone cannot play? Please notify a selector A.S.A.P.
Please don’t be discouraged if you have not made a side, as there will be plenty of opportunities throughout the season to get a game.
Premier League 1st Round is a double header and both games are at home. Saturday is a 4pm roll up for a 5pm start against Tweed Heads.
Sunday is a 1pm roll up for a 2pm start against Victoria Point.
The selectors had some very difficult decisions to make and we understand that not everyone will be pleased with selections. However these teams are what the Selectors have chosen and believe every side is very strong and should go all the way.
A positive attitude towards your fellow members and support will go a long way to achieving results.
If anyone has any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact myself or any of the other selectors.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Enjoy Your Bowls

A very successful 2018 Members Day.

Perfect weather conditions on Saturday 2nd June helped make the HBC Members day a great success!

Shaun Kelly was the main organiser with some help from committee members, Patron Bob Vitnell and Jacque arranged a BBQ, and a good time was had by all.

Two games of ten ends played, and the overall winners were Mike Hill & Billy Eakin with a 2 + 18 score
